I decided to go for a cycle today. Been there done that. It is some tough stuff having stamina sucking this much like mine. I haven’t been exercising regularly of which I think I should start now if I wanna join sports in poly. I don’t want to be having a tough start than everyone else just because of my stamina, when I think I am able to handle things out of that region of breathing with ease.
The start of the ride was easy until when I was passing by Queenstown Stadium(on my way back), I was like half dead thinking about how am I going to go up the GENTLE sloping road that was ahead. Pathetic shit I tell you. My thigh muscles was starting to become weak and yeah, I was hoping the end of this ride would come very soon. The ride started from house, duh!, to Queenstown Stadium(QS) then to Margret Drive then back to QS and back to my home. Basically I took the same detour I took going back and fro.
I was panting like some mad dog at QS and it was to the extend that I had to use my mouth to breathe which isn’t the correct way of breathing when exercising even though lotsa people do that.
‘’Ah no! Not another GENTLE sloping road!'’ Yeah that popped into my mind everytime I see one. Haha. But I managed to cycle non-stop til I reached home sweet home! That’s when I thank god for not letting me collapse half way through under the scorching sun. Lol.
Anyway, I’ve been on a 3-day diet, working towards a goal of hoping to lose something which I hope I’d never gain back- FATS, CALORIES. That explains another reason why I should start exercising regularly. Going on a diet is really a challenging task. I had to fight my hunger pangs with just plain water and my tempation of grabbing a slice of biscuit and everything else to eat. And yes! I’ve done it! Woo! At least I didn’t succumb to temptation whilst risking the fact that my diet will fail. HAHA.
Beetroot pretty much sucked and that made my first day and last day dinner for the diet like crap. If you haven’t eaten/seen it before, it tastes like mud and it is redish purple in color. I literally swallowed down the chunks of beetroot that I’d chewed, with plain water each time when I eat it. Now can you imagine having to swallow food that you haven’t chewed properly? I almost choked but still going strong. Heh. It tasted so bad, that’s why I had to do that. Other than that, the food in the diet was kinda alright.
Having said with all these, I am done blogging for now! *poof*
