So I had a talk with my mum just this evening. Lying in my SINGLE-SIZE bed, the TWO of us just talked. And yea, I was lying on the edge of my bed already manz and she was having my bed comfortably… But ah, what the never-mind.
And she popped this question.
“So do you have any crushes on the boys in your class?” (Please note that my class has only 3 girls including me, so she might think that it is quite easy to have a crush.)
“NOOOOOO. I mean, my class boys are horribly childish! No way am I going have a crush on any one of them. All they do is computer games and nothing else, what a turn-off.”
“Hahahahahaha. Yea, that’s why bad age to have a relationship. Boys are childish at this age… Then if there were this school hunk, would you go forward and get to know him? ”
“OF COURSE NOT. Big time that he is a jerk and I am not desperate too! I am not a desperado so I won’t go way out to know a boy. Boost they already-big ego. What for? Oh, and I am not cheap lor.”
“Hahahahaha. That’s right. I always thought that girls shouldn’t make the first move all along. Always at the losing end.”
Hahahaha, how weird you might think. Some parents won’t even have this conversation with their kids and yet this mother of mine is open enough to be talking about this. Sometimes we talk about *ahem* sex too. Okay okay… They are healthy conversations lah, in a way it is like sex education. NOT those horny conversation okay… HHAHA. I remember her telling me something really funny: Some of my school’s IT technicians have big eye bags. I think maybe watch too much porn at night already. HAHAHAHAHA. OM天.
So she went on talking about how some places have different types of men.
Case study 1:
In the past my mum worked at this certain part of an engineering company and the work place was populated by the men earning a relatively high income. Some of them were supervisors and some in senior positions. So she said, during any of their private bbq, the cost of the food would be shared by the men, the ladies didn’t need to pay a single cent.
Case study 2:
In another work place: A factory without a canteen.(How suay…) My mum said the men there were like KIAM KA NA.. Meaning: Cheapskates. Reasoning being because during lunch breaks, the men would normally drive down to this place to buy lunch. And they would come back asking not just for the food money but, THE PARKING FEE TOO. I was like WAH SLAP THEM. For example: Parking fee: $2. 10 people wanted the food. $2/10= $0.20 each person. What the hell manz, so terrible.
Case study 3:
My case study… Hmmm… Actually I don’t think I want to get started. But just to give you a general view, the bus marshalls (not all) in the IMF are seriously typical men. Fine, I think I shall bitch about this. So I think there were 2 or 3 bus marshalls who harassed my friend during her duties through the telecomm aka walkie-talkie. And they wanted to know her number. And obviously, my friend didn’t give! My IC over heard the harassement over the telecomm, like duh and called my friend to point out those who did it. (You see, she was standing outside with the bus marshalls, so I guess she could see who was talking.) And according to her, they got sentenced to 20 days of army prison. How cool! Another friend of mine who was standing at the bus bay got harassed too. This fat-assed guy asked her for her number. She didn’t want to give because of obvious reason. The fat-assed guy then asked his friend “steal” her number from somewhere of which I don’t know where either! Smsed her not to get angry because he “stole” her number… Lame lahhhh… Using, 旁门左道 (back door) to get the number, cheapo! And how do you expect her not to be angry or pissed off? Then you expect her to reply saying : No lah… It’s okay, I feel very honoured that some one actually wants my number so badly. Hmmm, like duh, NOT. So we(the girls) were bitching and bitching and bitching about them. Literally becoming bitches… Kidding…
So anyway, my mum concluded: How a woman is behaving is how she is being treated. If you are treated badly maybe by your husband, you probably will behave like a bitch, a 泼妇, although not all. If your husband treats you very well, then you will probably behave like a lady like some of the delegates spouses. Just some generalisation here. SO, WOMEN IN THE WORLD, WE MUST STAND UP STRONG AND NOT LET MEN AFFECT HOW ARE WE BEHAVING AND HMMM… SCREW MEN WHO ARE JERKS LAH… Hahahahahahahaha. Random Random.
